The vessel map displays AIS reports received through Open Waters volunteer sources. Our input bridge accepts CC0-tagged reports that are no more than 15 minutes old when received.
Reception around Vuda can be sparse. Some boats do not transmit AIS, and the feed does not hear every transmission. Displayed information can age after it arrives, so always inspect the vessel’s last-report information.
The map is for general interest. It is not a navigation, collision-avoidance, emergency-response or vessel-arrival guarantee service.
Opening the map loads AIS-catcher and map tiles from external providers. The map stays unloaded until you choose to open it.
